Plant Trees, Please!

You are here:
plant trees

Our recent storms played havoc with our trees. So we need to plant trees!

Arbor Day Foundation, located just two hours north of Kansas City, provides saplings for a modest donation. If you want a short getaway or are passing that way, take in their world-class facilities and apple farm.

Did you know, trees are the largest living beings?

  • They provide a significant contribution to reducing global warming.
  • tree canopy, plant trees, Arbor Day Foundation, largest living beingsIn New Zealand they have been granted legal personhood so that they can be defended and protected.
  • Trees increase the value of property, provide protection from the elements, reduce utility costs, and are home to an amazing variety of creatures.

Most of us enjoy passing through a canopy of trees. There’s nothing quite like it on a sunny day.

Others before us planted trees so we can enjoy them now. Do your part for those who come after us, and leave a legacy of trees by planting them now.
